    Enjoy with a matured ribeye steak, Pata Negra Bellota ham, or grilled Aubrac tamoahawk steak. Side dishes include sautéed mushrooms, nutmeg-spiced mashed potatoes, or stuffed butternut squash. Serve at around 15°C (59°F).

    Owner and history

    Solaia stands out for its high proportion of Cabernet Franc compared to Sangiovese. The vineyard covers 10 hectares of vines facing southwest, at an altitude of 350-400 meters in the province of Tignanello.

    Vinification and aging

    This vintage is produced in exceptional years. Fermentation finishes in oak barrels. The wine is then blended and aged in barrels for one year.
