    Owner and history

    Cheval des Andes spans a 50-hectare vineyard at the foot of the Andes Mountains. Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes benefit from cool temperatures and are planted on gentle slopes. Some vines are over eighty years old and have never been grafted. Particular care is taken in the vineyard to preserve the exceptional terroir of Mendoza.

    Vinification and aging

    - Hand-harvested grapes with sorting in the vineyard and multiple passes through the vineyard.
    - Vinification by plot, in stainless steel tanks
    - Pre-assembly followed by aging in barrels
