      Louis Jadot House

Louis Jadot produces the Corton-Grèves Grand Cru as a monopole. This négociant house, based in Beaune and now managed by Pierre-Henri Gagey, is a historic and emblematic figure in Burgundy wine. It comprises several estates in Burgundy, one in Beaujolais, and one in Oregon in the United States. The vines are cultivated with respect for the environment; some estates are even farmed biodynamically .

As is often the case in Burgundy, this is a single-varietal wine, made from Pinot Noir . The wine is aged in oak barrels for 15 to 18 months. It subsequently reveals aromas of small black fruits, spices, and leather, with a beautiful deep red color. Structured, it has excellent aging potential and will reach its peak 6 to 15 years after production.
Both powerful and delicate, it pairs very well with game meats, cooked in sauce for example, and with mature cheeses.
