The Domaine Anne Gros vineyards extend primarily around Vosne-Romanée, but the Coteaux Bourguignons cuvée comes from specific parcels located on clay-limestone soils. This versatile terroir allows the Pinot Noir and Gamay grape varieties to fully express their lusciousness. The vines are cultivated using sustainable practices, with meticulous work in the vineyard to preserve the natural balance of the soil and the grapes.

    Owner and history

Anne Gros has managed the family estate since 1988, succeeding her father, François Gros. Thanks to her exacting standards and attention to detail, she has elevated her wines to some of the most sought-after in the Côte de Nuits. Deeply committed to respecting her terroir, she makes it a point of honor to express the purity of the fruit and Burgundian elegance. Her daughter, Julie, recently joined her, thus perpetuating the family tradition with a forward-looking vision.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at the estate favors gentle fermentations, with short maceration to promote fruitiness and suppleness. Aging takes place primarily in stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine's freshness. For this 2023 vintage, a few older barrels were used to add roundness without masking the fruit expression.
