    Owner and history

    The Clos Fourtet vineyard covers 20 hectares in a single block on the hillsides of the Saint-Émilion appellation. The vines are planted on a high-quality limestone plateau. Organic and biodynamic farming methods are used to preserve the purest expression of the terroir.

    Vinification and aging

    Clos Fourtet has 13 hectares of quarries beneath its vineyards. This forms a natural underground cellar between 6 and 12 meters deep. 100,000 bottles slumber in this vast cellar!
