The vineyards of Domaine Trimbach stretch across diverse terroirs, primarily granitic and limestone, which impart an unparalleled character to the grapes. The continental climate, with its hot summers and cold winters, promotes a slow and balanced ripening of the grapes. The vines, cultivated with care and using sustainable practices, benefit from optimal sun exposure, allowing the full aromatic complexity of the grape varieties to be extracted. This harmonious blend of soil, climate, and the winemakers' expertise results in authentic wines, true to their terroir.

    Owner and history

Domaine Trimbach is currently managed by the Trimbach family, who perpetuate a savoir-faire passed down through generations. The current owners, Pierre and Jean Trimbach, are committed to preserving traditions while integrating modern practices to guarantee the quality of their wines. Their passion for viticulture and their respect for the terroir are at the heart of their approach. They strive to produce wines that tell the story of their region, with meticulous attention to every detail, from vine to bottle.

    Vinification and aging

The winemaking process for Cuvée Frédéric Emile is a true tribute to Alsatian winemaking tradition. The grapes, harvested by hand, are gently pressed to preserve their integrity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, allowing the wine to retain its freshness and purity of aromas. Aging on fine lees for several months gives the wine added richness and complexity. This meticulous process, combined with time-honored expertise, results in a Riesling of great finesse, capable of aging gracefully.
