    Owner and history

    Corton-Grèves comes from a prestigious terroir located on the Corton hill, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. The vines, planted in clay-limestone soils, benefit from optimal exposure, allowing the Pinot Noir grapes to reach full maturity. These conditions give the wine great aromatic intensity and a unique structure. The vineyard work is meticulous, respecting sustainable practices to preserve the richness of this exceptional terroir.

    Vinification and aging

    Winemaking at Louis Jadot is carried out with meticulous care, preserving the authenticity of the Pinot Noir and revealing the full power of Corton-Grèves. The grapes are fermented in open vats with gentle extraction to respect the wine's balance. The Corton-Grèves Grand Cru is then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new, imparting subtle aromas of vanilla and toasted wood without masking the characteristics of its terroir.
