    The Marc Kreydenweiss - KA 2017 is a fascinating vintage that challenges traditional Alsatian winemaking conventions. Although the estate is historically based in Andlau, this wine comes from their property in the Gard region (Domaine de Perrière), while maintaining the Kreydenweiss family's rigorous biodynamic philosophy.

    Producer

    Domaine des Perrières is the second estate of the Kreydenweiss family. Since 1999, this family property has showcased the passion and pioneering spirit of this renowned family of Alsatian origin. Marc and Emmanuelle Kreydenweiss indulge their passion for red wine using grape varieties from the South of France, while also employing their Alsatian winemaking expertise. Today, and since 2017, the torch has been passed to one of their sons, Jean, who has given the estate a new impetus and is producing wines with a distinctive character.

    Owner and history

    The plot covers 2 hectares and is managed according to biodynamic principles. The vines are situated on a gentle slope in the Costières de Nîmes. The soil consists of rolled pebbles on ferruginous earth and is composed of a composite mixture of schist, flint, sandstone, quartz, and limestone.
