    Vinification and aging

    Winemaking at Domaine Claude Dugat is carried out with care and respect for tradition. The grapes, harvested by hand, are meticulously sorted to retain only the finest. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with extended maceration to extract color and tannins. After fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, for 12 to 18 months. This aging process refines the aromas and structures the wine, while preserving the authenticity of the terroir.
