    Owner and history

Château Malartic-Lagravière is one of only six Classified Growths for both white and red wines in the 1953 Graves classification. The white wine vineyard covers 9 hectares and has a planting density of 10,000 vines per hectare. The soil is composed of dry, clayey gravel over a subsoil of shelly limestone.

    Vinification and aging

After harvesting, the grapes undergo a slow pressing and fermentation in barrels at around 20-22°C. The wine is then aged on its lees in oak barrels for 11 months.
