    Tasting notes

    It is best to decant the wine at least two hours before tasting and serve it at a temperature between 16 and 18°C. To accompany it, choose meat-based dishes with pronounced flavors. A pepper sauce, for example, or a porcini mushroom sauce, will enhance the aromas of your wine.

    Owner and history

    The vineyard covers 22 hectares. The grape varieties are 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. On average, the vines are 30 years old, with a planting density of 6,000 vines per hectare. The soil is sandy-clay with pure gravel. The subsoil is rich in iron deposits.

    Vinification and aging

    - Fermentation in vats according to the classic method of pump-overs and controlled macerations.
    - Frequent tastings.
    - Aged in oak barrels for 18 months.
