    Owner and history

    The Château Durfort-Vivens vineyard is located within the Margaux appellation and covers 55 hectares. The vines are planted on deep, poor gravelly slopes. The château has practiced organic farming since 2013 and biodynamic farming since 2016.

    Vinification and aging

    The estate intervenes as little as possible during the winemaking process. Amphorae are gradually being incorporated during fermentation and aging of the wines. An impressive amphora cellar is currently being installed at the estate.
