          A story of transmission

          Learning from generation to generation

After learning the ropes from Louis Petit, Jean-Marc bought vines in the Chablis vineyards. He then created his own estate, applying the teachings of his father-in-law. For him, passing on knowledge is at the heart of winemaking, and knowledge "is always shared, but never explained." In turn, he shares his knowledge with his children, who now run the estate.

Today, his sonJulianHe launched his own range of wines, divided into 7 cuvées from 7 different plots. He learned and drew inspiration from his father's teachings to produce wines of incredible finesse and purity.

          Respect for the environment

From the very beginning,Jean-Marc Brocardis committed to more environmentally friendly agriculture. In 1973, 11 hectares of vines were already being cultivated inorganic and biodynamic.Today, more than half of the estate is converted or in the process of conversion. This rigor and respect for the land has placed the estate among the Burgundian pioneers of organic and biodynamic agriculture.

Today, Julien's entire vineyard is converted to biodynamic farming. This rigorous approach allows him to express the unique character of each of his seven different terroirs in his wines.
