    Le vignoble de Petrolo est situé sur des sols argilo-calcaires, offrant une excellente drainage et une richesse minérale propice à la culture du Merlot. Le climat méditerranéen, avec des étés chauds et des hivers doux, favorise une maturation optimale des raisins. Les vignes, cultivées selon des méthodes durables, bénéficient d'une exposition idéale au soleil, permettant d'exprimer pleinement le potentiel aromatique des baies.

    Owner and history

    Of the estate's thirty hectares, about ten are dedicated to Merlot. The vines are around thirty years old. Galatrona is an exceptional plot situated at an altitude of between 250 and 450 meters, which helps retain a great deal of freshness. The vines have been certified organic since 2016.

    Vinification and aging

    The grapes are harvested by hand when perfectly ripe. Vinification takes place using indigenous yeasts in cement vats. The wines are aged in oak barrels for 18 to 20 months.
