    Vinification and aging

    The Meerlust Chardonnay 2021 is crafted with meticulous care. The carefully selected grapes are gently pressed to preserve their integrity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, adding another dimension to the wine. Aging on fine lees for several months imparts a creamy texture and aromatic depth to the Chardonnay. This painstaking process allows the full richness of the Stellenbosch terroir to shine through.
