    Owner and history

Domaine de Chevalier is a large estate of over 100 hectares, of which only 45 are dedicated to vines, preserving a sense of seclusion, a hidden gem nestled in its verdant setting. The vineyard is planted with 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc. The average age of the vines is 35 years. The planting density is 1,000 vines per hectare. The soil consists of black sand and fine white gravel over a subsoil of iron-rich clay.

    Vinification and aging

    - Hand-harvested grapes
    - Aged for 18 months in barrels (35% new oak)
