    Owner and history

    "Le Petit Lion" was created for the 2007 vintage. This followed the uprooting and replanting of vines, primarily on several plots within the "Grand Clos." These young vines make up this second wine and are also used in the blend of the estate's two flagship wines: Clos du Marquis and Las Cases.

    Vinification and aging

    The same methods are applied to the second wine as to the estate's grand wine:
    - manual harvesting
    - Vinification in large wooden, cement or stainless steel vats of 40 to 200 hl
    - Aged for approximately 10 months in oak barrels (10% of which are new)
