    Owner and history

    The vineyard extends outside the famous Las Cases enclosure, planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines are located in the heart of the Saint-Julien appellation. They are on average thirty years old. Compared to its neighbor, the Las Cases enclosure, the Clos du Marquis vineyard is further from the Gironde estuary, and this terroir ripens later.

    - Aged for 20 months in oak barrels (25% new)
