Owner and history

On the slopes of Saint-Émilion, the estate spans 10 hectares. The winemaking team cultivates Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, some of which are over a hundred years old. Château Trotte Vieille boasts plots that were phylloxera-free, contributing to the vineyard's unique character. The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for a maximum of 20 days. After 18 months of aging in oak barrels, 100% renewed each year, the wines are blended. The Premier Grand Cru Classé B is enjoyed alongside the second wine, La Vieille Dame de Trotte Vieille. These are elegant and refined wines that reveal themselves to the delight of connoisseurs of fine wines from the Right Bank.
