With this distinctive vintage, opt for game meat. Wild boar or hare stew, for example, would be good choices.

    Owner and history

Château Troplong Mondot spans 28 hectares in a single block within the Saint-Émilion appellation. The estate prides itself on cultivating its Merlot (85%), Cabernet Sauvignon (13%), and Cabernet Franc (2%) grape varieties like a garden. It sits on the Mondot hill, at an altitude of 100 meters.

    Vinification and aging

A heightened pursuit of excellence is evident throughout the winemakers' work. The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified in stainless steel tanks. Aging lasts between 12 and 18 months in oak barrels.
