    Vinification and aging

    The winemaking process at Château Haut-Bages Libéral adheres to Bordeaux traditions. After a manual harvest, the grapes are destemmed and crushed before being placed in vats for temperature-controlled fermentation. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, adding complexity and structure. This method allows the tannins to soften and the oak aromas to integrate, while preserving the purity of the fruit. The wine is then bottled after light fining and filtration.
