    Owner and history

    Located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, Château Brane-Cantenac benefits from a perfect location and exceptional terroir. The grape varieties planted include Cabernet Sauvignon (55%), Merlot (40%), Cabernet Franc (4.5%), and Carménère (0.5%). The estate also practices organic farming. The vineyard covers 7 hectares. Its soil is composed of deep gravel, rich in minerals and clay. The vines are on average 25 years old.

    Vinification and aging

    - Winemaking in wooden, stainless steel and concrete vats
    - Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (20 to 30% new barrels).
