Miquel Barcelo: an artist at the service of Mouton Rothschild
It is from the 1945 vintage onwards that every year the Château Mouton Rothschild entrusted the design of its label to a great artist. A veritable collection of artworks has been built up over the years, starting with this first Cru Classé of Pauillac. On the occasion of the 2012 vintage, la Baronne Philippine de Rothschild, who died last summer, had entrusted the task to the Catalan Miquel Barceló to create its label.

The design created for the Château Mouton Rothschild 2012 offers a personal vision of the historical emblem of châteauThe two rams locked in a joust symbolize both the balance and harmony of fine wine, a challenge met by the teams of château to produce an exceptional wine.
