Drinks by the window: which bottle to choose?

Tonight, a special aperitif is being organized throughout France! Everyone is invited to have an aperitif from their window, balcony, skylight… An opportunity to toast with their neighbors, all together but at a distance.

Everything's ready: chips, peanuts, your best slices of sausage. The more adventurous among you will have even brought hummus and elegant appetizers. All that's left is to choose what you're going to drink. We've selected some bottles that will make you want to raise a glass! The date is set, now all that's left is to celebrate the weekend, the beautiful weather, and spring while enjoying a good glass of wine!

Aperitif: Dare to drink rosé

Of course, rosé is one of the essentials for a successful aperitif. Fruity, light, and delicious, it's the perfect companion to chips and other summery tapenades. Plus, it's in season! bottle of rosé from Provence of Château of the Engarran Keep it cool and the party can begin. For a change, treat yourself to a Corsican vintage of Domaine Yves LecciaAn organic, easy-drinking wine, full of pleasure, to be enjoyed under a beautiful spring sun!

The moment of white

When it comes to white wines, there's something for everyone! Some prefer dry, mineral wines like those from Domaine Huet and its Vouvray Chenins Or The Bournais of François ChidaineThey would be appreciated on appetizers with goat cheese, for example.

The white wines ofAlsace These wines offer delightful tasting moments with their delicate white flower aromas, freshness, and finesse. One thinks in particular of... Riesling of Domaine Trapet, THE Gewurztraminer of René Muré or even the Langenberg, Future Premier Cru of Domaine DeissFresh vegetables and spicy flavors pair perfectly with these wines. Try beef samosas with spices or Tex-Mex sauces!

The aperitif becomes a truly indulgent moment with sweet wines. Be sure to serve them well chilled and choose those that aren't too sweet to preserve your appetite for what's to come. In the Loire Valley, the Domaine Chidaine offers us its vintage Montlouis and the High Place for the Domaine HuetThese two very attractive bottles are off-dry wines that retain incredible freshness and will add a touch of indulgence to your fish appetizers. Shrimp chips and cod fritters pair beautifully with these wines.

You will also find sweet wines such as the Muscat of Cap Corse, A Tokaj of Hungary or even a Coteaux-du-Layon of Domaine Baumard..

No rules at aperitif time: fine wines are allowed! Treat yourself to a Meursault or a Chablis, and enjoy a Chardonnay at the peak of its art.

Red wine as an aperitif is a sure thing!

What a pleasure it is to open a bottle of red wine as an aperitif, provided it remains light, fruity, and crisp. Look for grape varieties bursting with fruit, generous and full-bodied, and avoid wines that are too oaky and tannic. Opt for a Pinot Noir, a Gamay, a Chinon, or a Trousseau, for example, which will pair beautifully with sausage, rillettes, and other charcuterie.

We recommend, for example The Seams of Domaine MabileauThis Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil, all finesse, is perfectly balanced.

aperitif

In Beaujolais, we love the Gamay of Domaine Golden Lands which takes us into a truly indulgent moment.

For die-hard fans of Bordeauxthe name Lalande de Pomerol offers wines that are perfect as an aperitif. We're thinking in particular of the domaine of The Flower of BouärdThe suppleness of the tannins and the lusciousness of the Merlot promise a delightful tasting experience.

If you choose red wine, serve it slightly cooler than usual. This will help it stay fresher even if the aperitif goes on for a while.

The aperitif is accompanied by Champagne

Nothing is more festive than sparkling wine as an aperitif. We love the delicate and refined aromas of Champagne Chourlin and its vintage Brut Lucie Chourlin

There Parcel Selection of Domaine Vincent Couche It adds another dimension to your aperitif. Sausage can give way to the most refined appetizers, or not... after all.

aperitif champagne

We also like the champagne rosé of Louis Roederer which combines finesse and indulgence for an unforgettable and sparkling aperitif.
