    Description

Domaine de La Pousse d'Or has embodied the excellence of the Volnay and Santenay terroirs since the 19th century, renowned for a precise and plot-by-plot approach to its premier crus.
Domaine Jean & Sébastien Dauvissat , one of the major references of Chablis, perpetuates a centuries-old family tradition entirely focused on the purity of Chardonnay and the expression of historic climates.
Domaine Faiveley , founded in 1825, is one of the greatest heritages of Burgundy, combining tradition, innovation and an exceptional mastery of very plot-by-plot winemaking.
Domaine Henri Gouges , an emblematic pioneer of Nuits-Saint-Georges, has built a reputation for rigor and for producing some of the most sought-after wines for aging in the Côte de Nuits.
Finally, Jean-Marc Millot , an increasingly sought-after estate, quickly established itself thanks to an ultra-careful approach to the grapes and a constant search for purity and balance.

      Producer

This selection spans the most emblematic terroirs of Burgundy:
      – Santenay & Côte de Beaune: marl-limestone soils and gently sloping exposures bringing finesse and tension.
      – Chablis: historic Kimmeridgian terroirs, rich in marine fossils, which give Montmains and Les Preuses an incomparable minerality.
      – Marsannay: soils of marl and limestone scree giving fragrant and fresh reds.
      – Nuits-Saint-Georges & Côtes de Nuits: lands of hard limestone and deep clays producing structured, complex and elongated wines.

      Owner and history

The Landanger family continues the work of Domaine de La Pousse d'Or with passion and high standards.
The Dauvissat family, father and son, are among the most respected artisans in Chablis, faithful to an authentic vision of Chardonnay.
The Faiveley family, seven generations of owners, embodies stability, commitment and excellence in Burgundy.
Domaine Henri Gouges, still family-owned, remains one of the strongest ambassadors of Nuits-Saint-Georges.
Finally, Jean-Marc Millot and his daughter Alix are now crafting wines of remarkable purity, which have become highly sought after by enthusiasts.

      Vinification and aging

Winemaking is carried out on a plot-by-plot basis in each estate:
      – La Pousse d'Or works gently, with controlled punch-downs and delicate aging in barrels.
      – Dauvissat ages its Chablis in vats and old barrels to preserve the mineral integrity of the terroir.
      – Faiveley combines stainless steel tanks and oak barrels (including a measured proportion of new oak) to express the purity of the fruit.
      – Gouges favours traditional winemaking, slow extraction and long aging to structure the wines.
      – Millot adopts a very low-intervention style, seeking finesse and energy, with precise aging in high-quality barrels.

      The team's opinion

A rare and exemplary selection that reveals the finesse of Burgundy's terroirs: crystalline tension in Chablis, floral elegance in Côte de Beaune and velvety depth in Côte de Nuits.
